Because you are not paying for a moving company’s truck, fuel, and drive time, labor-only moving is often the most budget-friendly way to get professional help with a local move. You only pay for the hours our crew is working.

Labor-only help works well when you already have transportation sorted out and just need strong, careful hands. Common situations include:

To keep things clear: Nahas Moving provides moving labor only. We do not rent trucks, drive your rental vehicle, or provide transportation of your belongings. When your move involves transportation, you provide the truck, trailer, or container.

What does “labor-only” moving mean?

It means we provide the movers and you provide the transportation. Our crew loads and unloads the truck, trailer, or container you arrange, or moves items within a home or building.

How much do labor-only movers cost?

Our 2-mover crew is $99/hr within about 20 miles of Allen, $109/hr for roughly 20–35 miles, and $119/hr for roughly 35–50 miles, with a 2-hour minimum. Moves more than 50 miles from Allen get a custom quote. Your exact rate is confirmed from your address.

Do your movers drive the rental truck?

No. We provide labor only. You or someone you choose drives the truck between locations.

What equipment do your movers bring?

Our crew brings a moving dolly, a basic toolset, and furniture straps. If you want moving blankets or specialty dollies, you can rent them with your truck.

Do you move pianos?
