Furniture moving help includes
Not every job is a full move. Sometimes you just need a sectional carried upstairs, a bedroom set moved to the guest room, a new dresser brought in from the garage, or furniture shifted so floors can be installed.
Our 2-mover crew handles furniture moves of all sizes, using a dolly and furniture straps to move heavy pieces safely and protect your walls and floors as best as possible.

In-home moving
In-home moving means moving furniture or large items within the same home, apartment, office, or building — no truck required. It is a good fit for rearranging rooms, moving furniture before new flooring is installed, clearing a room for a renovation, or moving items between floors.
In-home moves follow the same hourly rate and 2-hour minimum as our other labor-only services. Choose “In-Home Furniture Moving” as the service type in the reservation form.
Heavy item assistance
We can help with certain heavy or oversized items, subject to advance approval. Please describe these items when you request your date so we can confirm we have the right crew size for the job:
- Large appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, freezers)
- Oversized furniture such as sectionals, armoires, and solid-wood pieces
- Gym equipment such as treadmills, ellipticals, and weight machines
- Pianos — prior approval and an additional charge required; availability not guaranteed
Pricing
All rates are for a 2-mover crew with a 2-hour minimum. Need a 3rd mover for a large job? Just ask when we confirm your reservation.
City names are examples, not exact boundaries. The online estimate uses your ZIP code; your final rate depends on your exact address and is confirmed by Nahas Moving before your reservation is accepted.
Pianos: Piano moving requires prior approval and an additional charge. Please inform us before scheduling. We cannot guarantee piano-moving availability.

Furniture Moving Help FAQs
Is there a minimum for a small furniture job?
Yes. All bookings have a 2-hour minimum for a 2-mover crew. If you have several small tasks, we can often take care of them all within that time.
Can you move gym equipment?
Often, yes — but heavy equipment must be described and approved before your move is accepted. Some machines need to be partially disassembled first.
Can you pick up furniture I bought from a store or marketplace?
If you provide the truck or trailer, we can load the furniture at the pickup location and unload it at your home. We do not provide transportation.
Do you move pianos?
Piano moving is not part of our standard labor-only pricing. It requires prior approval and an additional charge, and availability is not guaranteed. Tell us about the piano before you schedule so we can let you know whether we can take it on.
