Moving a house is a big job, but you do not need to pay for a full-service mover’s truck to get professional help. With labor-only house moving, you arrange the truck or container and our crew does the lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading.

We can handle an entire household in one booking or work room by room — for example, just the bedroom furniture and appliances while family members handle the boxes.

Estimating hours for a house move

House moves vary a lot. A tightly packed three-bedroom home with everything boxed goes much faster than one where packing is still in progress. When you request a reservation, choose your best estimate for hours and describe the home in the notes; we will confirm the scope and let you know if we think more time or a 3rd mover makes sense.

Appliances and heavy items

We can move many large appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators once they have been disconnected. Heavy or specialized items — gym equipment, safes, oversized furniture, and pianos — need to be discussed before your move is accepted. Pianos require prior approval and an additional charge.

Please have washers, dryers, refrigerators, and other appliances disconnected before we arrive. Gas and water connections should be handled by you or a qualified professional.

Can you help pack boxes?

Our standard service covers loading, unloading, and carrying. If you would like help with packing, mention it in your reservation request and we will discuss it with you. Having boxes packed and sealed before the crew arrives keeps your labor hours focused on moving.

Should I book a 3rd mover?

For larger homes or homes with many heavy pieces, a 3rd mover can help. Just ask when we confirm your reservation.

Do you move pianos?

Piano moving is not part of our standard labor-only pricing. It requires prior approval and an additional charge, and availability is not guaranteed. Tell us about the piano before you schedule so we can let you know whether we can take it on.
